About OSICON - 2019
-
The main thrust for this conference: “Indian Ocean Processes and Resources – A key to Blue Economy”. OSICON-19 provides a forum to bring together academicians, reserchers, engineers, technologists and all other personnel involved in the marine related fields to share their knowledge for the benefit of mankind.
Motivation to organize this conference stems from the desire to find answers to ubiquitous climate change impacts on processes and resources of our seas. We expect focused and informed presentations and deliberations on carefully chosen topics and themes. It is imperative to assess the short-term and their long-term changes in marine living resources and their economic impacts to evolve sustainable management policies. The marine resources are increasingly becoming indispensable to supplement the land based mineral resources, Identification of abundance and exploitability of marine living and non-living resources is vital to get benefits of enormous blue economy which India is blessed with. Keeping these objectives in mind, we request the participants to contribute their recent advances and accomplishments in research.
